SALSA SOCIAL DANCING Students will learn dance floor etiquette, dance timing, basic footwork, and salsa dance routines. Latin dance shoes are strongly recommended. Having a dance partner is not required but is encouraged.

Fontana Walks! began as a challenge to get the community moving for better health. Since its inception in 2017, the program has logged over 24 billion steps , equivalent to over 11 million miles! The program continues offer taste tests/food demos, tips on how to include more fruits and vegetables into a daily lifestyle, as well as how to access free resources in the community. CRAB + CRABLING | PARENT + ME Parent and child are required to participate in the water together. Learn elementary skills including water entry, bubble blowing, front kicking, back kicking, underwater exploration and more. SHRIMPS | PRESCHOOL Introduction to independent pool safety, water entry and exit, and basic swimming skills such as kicking, bubble blowing, floating, and underwater exploration. BLOWFISH | LEVEL 1 Introduction to water safety skills such as water entry and exit, fully submerged face, jumping, kicking, arm movement, breath control, supported floating, rolling over, and personal safety. ANGELFISH | LEVEL 2 Students will learn to float without support and recover to a vertical position, glides, front arm motion, back arm motion, flutter kicks, and rhythmic breathing. SQUID | LEVEL 3 Students will learn to combine and coordinate arm motion, leg motion, and rhythmic breathing, diving from the side of the pool, back crawl, elements of breaststroke, and fundamentals of treading water. PENGUINS | LEVEL 4 Students develop confidence in strokes, increase swimming endurance, build on breaststroke, learn sidestroke, and elements of butterfly. DOLPHINS | LEVEL 5 Objective is coordination and refinement of strokes. Participants build on butterfly, refine performance of all strokes, and increase distance. Flip turns on front and back are introduced. HAMMERHEADS | LEVEL 6 Students will refine strokes to swim with more ease, efficiency, power, and smoothness over greater distances, and will also learn the fundamentals of diving. TEENS (AGES 13-17) & ADULTS (AGES 18+) Introduces swimmers to the pool to improve on basic skills necessary to meet the individual’s personal goals. Classes are taught in a group setting and are geared toward beginner and intermediate levels. AQUABILITY Aquability is geared to participants with different intellectual and physical disabilities. Students enrolled will range in all ages and abilities. Students will be swim tested and placed together based on ability.
