READY FONTANA Emergency Management Program Ready Fontana is a campaign to encourage disaster preparedness throughout Fontana. Community Emergency Response Team Train to participate in disaster response and to work effectively with emergency responders. This FREE 20-hour course is popular and class size is limited. Early registration is suggested.

FIRE EXPLORERS | AGES 14-20 Gain first-hand experience in what it mentally and physically takes to be a professional firefighter. Participants will receive fire service training under supervision of trained firefighters. To join, contact (909) 356-2520.
What do Fire Explorers do? • Attend drills twice a month and practice the skills firefighters are learning. • Assist firefighters during emergency incidents. • Volunteer at special events. • Attend Fire Explorer academies and participate in Fire Explorer Muster competition.
How do I become a Fire Explorer? • 14-20 years old. • Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better. • Willing to learn and be available to actively participate
in various drills, fundraisers, and fire training. • Apply online at SBCfire.org/FireExplorers
